Vaere Social is a boutique consultancy, specialising in social sustainability and social research, dedicated to creating better communities across Australia. Based in Canberra, we work with clients nationwide to deliver insights and outcomes that enrich urban and regional communities.

Our Founder and Director, Liesl Codrington, is a nationally respected leader in social sustainability, known for her award-winning expertise and commitment to best-practice innovation. Liesl’s approach combines in-depth, rigorous research with practical advice, helping clients design projects and developments that genuinely benefit people and communities.

At Vaere Social, we believe in creating spaces where people can simply ‘be’. Our name, inspired by the Norwegian (and Danish) word valvære - meaning wellbeing - reflects our focus on people-centred solutions and socially sustainable outcomes.
